Requires The Last Hundred Yards Volumes 1 and 2 to play.

By 1944, the “Red Devils” of the British 1st Airborne had forged a proud record of parachute and glider assaults in North Africa and Crete. Recognized for distinctive red berets and hard-hitting efficiency, these elite troops spearhead actions to seize and hold key terrain behind enemy lines.

For King & Country builds on Airborne Over Europe, sending British airborne forces into Arnhem during Operation Market Garden and to the Caen Canal in the dark, tense hours before D-Day—a bridge later renamed “Pegasus” in honor of their mascot.

Enter the decisive phase in Normandy by storming Juno Beach with Canada’s inexperienced 3rd Infantry Division. Push inland toward the Caen–Bayeux railway and capture the Carpiquet airfields while absorbing the first counterblows from the German 21st Panzer Division.

Finally, drive on Caen—vital for its road network—and brace for the unleashed fury of the unbloodied 12th SS Panzer Division, fielding some of the best equipment available for the defense.
